School boundaries in the Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City Independent School District will change next school year.

Effecting Dove Meadows, Estates at Deer Creek, Falcon Ridge, Ridge at Deer Creek, Silvertree Park, The Trails at Deer Creek, Thistle Creek, and Woodstone subdivisions.

This change will send over 700 students to new schools. As a real estate Broker here in the San Antonio market with includes the Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City ISD, I know there is a lot of home owns that will not be very happy about these boundaries changes, most people that purchase homes due so based on the school district.

As our community grows and Elementary, middle and high schools outgrow their intended capacity, most districts have no choice but to move the boundaries. This is not the first school boundary move and it certainly will not be the last.
